This game is a visually hypnotic take on the bullet-hell genre, defined by its minimalist two-color art style. Players glide across the screen, dodging dense waves of projectiles from artistic, instrument-shaped enemies. The gameplay is frantic and fast-paced, demanding constant movement and precise aiming to survive. It offers a pure, challenging, and stylish arcade experience for fans of intense action.
This is actually kind of hilarious. It’s twin-stick of you have no-sticks (KB/M), and single stick if you have twin sticks to work with. Hopefully the dev gets the twin stick controls going on controller setups.
Could you please elaborate on what seems to be the issue? The game uses left stick for movement, right stick for aiming - everything pretty standard to me.
"I enjoyed many aspects of the game, but the blue character design bothered me a bit in terms of appearance — I feel it doesn't serve the game's theme or fit its atmosphere. I hope there will be a slight tweakment to it in future updates. Thank you for your efforts."
I'm having so much fun with this!! I'm not great with bullet-hells, so I appreciate the continue option at the cost of score. Even though I had the option to continue, I started over a lot because I felt I could do better! The enemy patterns leaned well into the swap mechanic. The trumpets with the line of bullets was the most effective, especially in the second half when trumpets of differing colors were on screen at the same time, needing the player to swap and pass through. The visual style is also highly effective with the limited pallet, and the pale yellowish tint is a good choice as opposed to a harsh white! The banner in the top left, the score multiplier, and the bullets from Staccato and Legato changing color with them also helped a ton in peripheral visual clarity so I never had a moment where I wasn't sure which I had swapped to. I personally didn't have any confusion differing enemies and the bullets I could touch (aside from my very first round where I ran straight into the little fuzz balls haha). A great time!!!!
Your tutorial option is not a tutorial. It is an instruction booklet. A tutorial is interactive, and lets you play the game, practicing each step at a time. Please fix.
It’s the definition of a tutorial (to tutor someone). Tutorials are mean to be interactive training exercises (e.g. what you would receive from a tutor). Not manuals. – It’s also just good game design to give interactive instructions, because that’s how people learn.
Not trying to be rude. It’s just a factual statement, I’m hoping to give feedback to help the creator improve a good game. 🙂
Honestly such a perfect little game. The presentation is amazing and the mechanics are all super fun and well thought out. So many interesting risk/reward decisions to make, mindblowing stuff.

This is IKARUGA, its basicaly the same game, but easier.
but with a less generic style tho
Why do you call this a "twin stick shooter" when we don't use the second stick to shoot?

Very smooth gameplay. Love the designs and your art style.
Made a video
good game, some recommendations: make the first option in menus be highlighted when a controller is used; add more scrolling text bc it looks cool
AMAZING! I'm going to put this on my Arcade Machine.

An interactive tutorial was planned, but it ended up being out of scope for the project at the time :(
I’m not 100% satisfied with the current approach either, so I’ll look into reworking it if I have the time.
I love it
what does any of this have to do with the game
i have the same question about that post
Liked the game loop, beautiful art!
